Having Lake Michigan nearby is like having a little bit of home. I go to the lake to watch the waves. With 2 grandchildren nearby and working 3 part-time jobs, I keep busy. Music is central to my life as it always has been. I am pianist and vocalist on Saturdays at one church and organist at another on Sundays. After retiring from the medical billing field, I now am a part-time church secretary.
I am married to a man who makes me laugh, Rich Lisle. We adopted 2 children, Charlie and Alyssa, while living down in North Carolina. They are half siblings. As their foster parents, we were told we would have them for maximum 90 days. It is now 27 years later. In 1979 and 1980 I was fortunate to travel to Israel and Egypt. In 2001 I was given the opportunity to go to Italy to take voice lessons and sing. I've been blessed.
